"Inquiring minds want to know." I never grab magazines like National Inquirer or
Us or other tabloids. Still, I do want to keep up on what new movies are being
made, who will be making what movies, what's coming in television land, what's
hot in the celluloid media and what is being canceled.

Thank goodness for our "stay current-all there is to know about movies
and TV" guru, Dragon53.

Thanks so much, Dragon. You keep me current and anticipating. I think everyone
who reads your Up Date threads appreciate your efforts to realize that
movies now have sound and color and that Leave It To Beaver is no longer playing.wink

Seriously and sincerely, I must say that I always read your posts and appreciate your
media "newsiness" and efforts to keep us current.

Gracias. Appreciate you!!!

A fellow poster I know here ONLY reads dragon53's threads on this side of the board.
Nothing else!
Apart from the 'hot of the presses' news, I really like the pictures he posts to back his news items up with wink
Thanks dragon and please don't stop.

dragon53's my favorite bearer of cinematic bad news. His informative posts keep my eyes rolling and my cynicism intact at Hollywood's latest attempts at remakes, sequels, and super-hero movies...thereby saving me tons of money that'd be otherwise wasted at the movies.

That's a good thing, right?

Not everything he posts in his news threads are interesting, and some of the news bits are often a bit old, but I almost always click them and am thankful for his work. Then again, I know he finds pleasure in it, so it's not like a work "chore", right dragon?

Keep it up, dude! smile

Had to laugh out loud at Jim Phelp's post. Yeah Jim, saving you money is a good thing.
And our cynicism must be maintained.

JOAN HUE AND GUYS:

Thanks very much. I'm glad you enjoy reading about zombie plagues, teen vampires, superheroes, ex-spys coming out of retirement to kill the assassins that killed his family, a monster loose in a secret underground lab, remakes, reboots, reimaginings, prequels, sequels and the occasional entirely new movie.

What I enjoy most about these threads are the comments of disgust from forum members about upcoming projects. It's kind of like an ongoing sequence of Statler & Waldorf from The Muppets (the two hecklers up in the balcony). Watching and participating in the outrage is a strange kind of online therapy, and good for a laugh or two.

Another tip of the hat to psicorpsranger, who keeps "the British end up" with news on various Dr Who, ITC releases etc. Thanks!

You're welcome, D53. Oh yes, I second the kudos to psicorpsranger too. He keeps me "in the know" about Torchwood!

I miss his posts too. But I think he's still having massive PC problems that's preventing him from posting entertainment news.
