One of my favorite trashy movies - and, to bring the discussion around to the music, you can find one of the library cues they used over and over again on the MMM CD of THE BLOB.

MIKE: This music is fantastic. Could you do the adagio again? It's fantastic.

at least one cue (# 23, and maybe # 14) can be found on MAN IN SPACE (Attilio Mineo):

Cool! I might have to get this CD. Track 15 is definitely used prominently in THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE. Track 14 is also used a lot in the English-language version of THE GREEN SLIME.

Actually, there are six cues from THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE on our BLOB album, and one from THE GREEN SLIME. If you listen to all of them in a row, it can cause your brain to live forever!

When viewing the film, make sure you see the uncut version. When the "thing in the closet" rips off the guys arm and blood starts flowing it's one of the first gore scenes in American horror film history.
