Based on Mink's invaluable information in this thread, I made a sequencing guide for Die Hard, see here:

Please let me know if there are any mistakes.

I was never aware the track "Nakotomi Plaza" was in the film. I thought this may have been a track Kamen especially recorded for a possible soundtrack back in the day?
Thanks for the tracklist.

Okay, sorry to loop back around to an issue I first brought up two-and-a-half years ago but at that time, I'd asked if there was any music (other than the bad rendition of "Let It Snow") on the old Varese edition of DIE HARD that was not migrated over to the superior La-La Land release. Mink stated that a track called "Gruber's Demands" did not appear on La-La Land's discs; however, looking at the track listing on the Varese edition, I see no track titled "Gruber's Demands". So I guess I need some more clarification, please--what is the specific title of the track(s) as listed on the Varese insert which features music that does not appear on the La-La Land set?

The track is titled Attention Police on both releases. Grubers Demands is the first part of the cue. smile

Ah! I see. Very well, then; thanks for the clarification!

EDIT: And it looks like Scott Atkins and Mink already answered my question back in late 2011; I just didn't read far enough down to recall. Well, if you're going to be an idiot, where better to display it than in a public forum, right?

Thank you! I feel very honored and am of course always happy to see fellow fans of my favorite score out there ;-)

Actually I've been meaning to do a revision of this one as a lot of new information popped up over the last few years but never really gotten to it yet. There's a lot of new info actually that would be worth noting.

Your welcome & good job again! Your hard work is surely appreciated by more than a few of us.An update would be welcome since so much has transpired. This has to be, with Aliens, one of the most difficult 'score puzzles' out there.

Cheers!
Sean

Oh please do, I come back to this article a lot after listening to the music to refresh my memory about the mixing of the score in the film. It would be wonderful to get the missing slate numbers and/or proper titles for some of the cues if that ever comes up. Mink, you mentioned dropping you an email some pages about to send scans of Needs's article, is that still possible? I see no user info on your profile. Thanks again for all your hard work.
