Does anyone know why Oliver Stone hired Craig Armstrong and not Stewart Copeland to score Wall Street 2? Does Armstrong revisit any of Copeland's themes from the first film?

Maybe Copeland has "retired" from film scoring after the no doubt exhausting revival of The Police (the hardest part being lugging that huge sack full of ca$h around the globe after each show I'm guessing!)
On a more useful note... I'm assuming that Stone was very happy with Armstrong's contribution on "World Trade Center" - so hired him again for another New York-set movie.

Dammit. Well it's Stone's loss. Wall Street is one of Copeland's best. For something similar check out his "Tip On A Sure Thing" episode of The Equalizer.
