I can't wait to listen to my copy - hopefully it will be waiting for me in the mailbox when I get home today!

Wow. Tons of conversation about Conan and no discussion about Red Sonja. I'll be listening to my copy today!

Also, here's hoping someone makes it a hat trick and finds a way to release a better version of Conan the Destroyer.

I'm really excited to get my copy...which, strangely, shipped the same day as Conan (which I got the next day)...but apparently via Pony Express...still haven't received it :-(

Mine apparently shipped on the 4th. Still haven't received it yet - hopefully it will show up between now and Saturday.

Doesn't Perseverance ship from California? Mine shipped about a week ago also, but I still haven't received it.

I'm probably going to stick to my Varese disc, unless this turns out to be, literally, breathtaking - which seems unlikely since it's a direct copy, albeit slightly tweaked.

Plus you get Bloodline thrown in on the Varese!

So what exactly is the source?

Didn't The Cat say that the source for the new CD was not the original album master? Which is why there is an additional cue?

I thought the additional cue was take from the movie, or an ultra rare LP edition, or something. The majority is transferred from the Varese CD as far as I know.

whay can't THE CAT just say it - why is it SO HARD to say it ???????????

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Because The Cat is busy with other upcoming releases. I only sequenced the project, decided on how to name the cues and provided the liner notes. I'm a historian, not a mastering engineer.

Since no one associated with the project wants to reveal the source, I think we can all guess accurately what source it was ripped from.

Hope to get the cd soon, so I will be able to analyze the spectral sound of this release! ^^

Love it! We received it yesterday and listened to it twice last evening...a beautiful score per the Maestro Morricone, indeed!!
