Maybe if they would post samples on their web site I could get exited about releases. I don't know why they have stopped posting samples (even on the Colosseum web site now).

This is the first I've heard of this film/score, and apart from the shamanistic moaning in the first track, I really like what I heard in the samples. I'll be picking up the CD eventually, for sure.
I`m unable to hear the iTunes samples (because I refuse to load up my system with background utils or referencing programs or what-have-you, or sign my life away much further - grumble grumble (!)) but I *did* watch the HD trailer on the official site.
I really like what I see and what I hear. The score kind of reminds me of Insomnia.
The film seems to have a top-notch cast. Looking forward to it. I suspect I will pursue the purchase of the score forthwith...
The film is truly awful but Hirschfelder's score is a really fine one - not thematic so much but with some great, full-blooded suspense and action cues. After about half an hour it was the only thing I was paying attention to. The wretched American accent by Iaon Gruffudd is an abomination and painful to the ears - you really have to hear it to believe how bad it is.
"The clips sound really great! Maybe it's the time to give David Hirschfelder a chance." -------------------------------------------------------- Yeah! It would be cool if Zack Snyder kept him onboard (after their OWLS/GUARDIANS collab) for the new SUPERMAN film.

Yes, this. I wasn't too impressed by Legend of the Guardians -- it works fine in the picture (with the exception of the new agey crapola when Soren was in the zone), but on CD had some good moments but overall never really clicked for me -- but Sanctum is a very pleasant surprise. The CD is a bit too lengthy for its own good, sags a bit in the middle, but there's a lot of very good stuff here.
I thought Green Hornet was bad, but this is the worst movie so far this year. Totally by the number plot with awful high school dialogue, no believable characters, and the special effects are bad. It feels like a snuff film in 3-D. Beware that if there's any flaw in anyone's body or psyche, they're dead within 5 minutes.
And the music isn't horrible. So it's the best thing in the movie in my opinion.
