IT'S TOO EARLY FOR THIS!!! The new year just started lol What's the hurry!!!!
As recent patterns I've confirmed for the last several years (barring surprise announcements like Spartacus and Star Trek:The Deluxe Edition) This is their club schedule (according to recent years):
MARCH JUNE SEPTEMBER NOVEMBER
Keep that mind or like Ford said. Call em up, it don't cost nothin'.
Well, it's now more than four months since the last batch. I wonder whether there'll be an announcement soon.
Yeah...I was about to say the same thing. It's gotta be soometime soon. I'm thinking before Easter. It'll say something like..."Well we've got an easter basket full of Varese Club goodies for ya"
April - Cat Ballou (1965) Frank DeVol with songs by Nat King Cole, Stubby Kaye and Lee Marvin May - The Great Race (1965) Henry Mancini (2 cd limited edition 1500 release) June - Tarzan's Greatest Adventure / Tarzan the Magnificent (1959) Douglas Gamley July - Barefoot in the Park (1967) Neal Hefti August - The Shuttered Room (1967) Basil Kirchin September - Sands of the Kalahari (1965) John Dankworth October - Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die (1966) Mario Nascimbene November - Support Your Local Gunfighter (1971) Jack Elliott December - The Assassination Bureau (1969) Ron Grainer
It's been a while since I've seen it, but I don't remember Lee Marvin singing in Cat Ballou.
Kid Sheleen sings Happy Birthday to the deceased father of Cat Ballou. It's a moving and touching performance.
Yeah, the song lasts for about 8 seconds & there's nothing moving or touching about it, it's a very funny scene, I can remember the cinema audience laughing when he blew out the candle.
