In the lead up to Christmas, I had to buy some stamps from our local post office. The lady behind the counter said "Christmas or ordinary?" Of course, as they were for cards, I said Christmas. She then said:
"Religious or Wallace and Gromit?"
Not a question I suppose anyone has ever had to ask until now...
I could really go for an Ulster Fry right about now.
...And not a word from all you "healthy" types.
Nice but missing my favorite potato bread at least they have sliced the soda farls in half for fryin up.
Jim I'm with wayouywest, your missing the potato bread! And damn you I sooooo want to eat that and I can't. Can't buy Soda Bread, Potato Bread or wheaten bread here in Germany for love nor money (not even in some of the Irish bars / restaurants I've been too). I haven't had an Ulster Fry since last April (basically once a year when I take my kids to visit my mum)

Blame wikipedia.
I think that the Ulster Fry should be the official unofficial breakfast of the FSM board. With all the unhealthy discussion about bent or creased booklets, cracked jewel cases, "lossless" downloads, and handwringing over not-yet-arrived CDs, we need something to dull the pain.
DavidinBerkeley, I know you love to post pics of "intense" food, so I hope you don't mind the slight digression. Your blackcurrant Jelly Babies are "in the post."

Never liked Wallace and Gromit, but I'd have to go with them in that situation.
For those who prepare (or "fix", as we used to say here in the States) their fry up themselves, do you prepare everything together in the same pan, as this article suggests one should do?
"The real skill in a great end result is cooking the entire meal in the one pan, thus securing and sealing the flavour throughout the whole cooking process."
