I listen to soundtracks with my Grado SR60e headphones. They're made in Brooklyn and are very difficult to find in stores. The best option is to research them and, if you're interested, order a pair from a company that allows for returns, like Amazon. I believe they cost around $70. The company makes more expensive units as well. They're too big for jogging; there's also a lot of sound leakage.

I got some for my brother one year for Christmas but he didn't care for them and the leakage was terrible for his recording studio. I never found out what he did with them.

I love my HD 598s

I upgraded to them from my previous EH350s and they are delightful for orchestral recordings. Plus they are available on various web sites for only $150 or so, which is a steal. The only thing is they do leak sound a little bit because they are open and they have the larger audio plug on the end so you need an adapter to use them with a standard headphone jack. So they aren't the best for portable listening.

Been using the 500 series for...I dunno....14 years now? First 555, then 595 and then 598. There really is no better bang for the buck.

I like the Grado sound signature the best for orchestral recordings, but the Grado fit is a bit tight so I can't comfortably listen to them for too long. Since I do a lot of my listening out and about, and for extended periods at my desk at work, the Koss PortaPro is my go-to right now. Very light and comfortable but with a fullness almost approaching Grado. And affordable (I've been broke as hell for a couple of years now).
