After lamenting the fact that we have no Kevin Kiner scores on CD from Star Wars The Clone Wars animated series I did some digging and found a Podcast where he mentions a website for a Season 1 "For Your Consideration" episode score. His Site proper isn't finished but if you go to www.kevinkiner.com/fyc you will find a Full Season 2 score! I was thrilled with this finding, but it just makes me want more. Even if they release them digitally that would be OK with me. I hope this also shows to people who don't know of his work on the show, what great work he is doing!

Enjoy!

Awesome! Thanks, Natrebo!!

I watch the series (when time permits) on CN and also own: Star Wars: The Clone Wars : http://www.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/10212/STAR-WARS-THE-CLONE-WARS/ which I enjoy immensely. I'll check Kiner's web site out.

Take care my friend!

Y'all are welcome! I just wished I would have listened to the podcast a little earlier because there was a season 1 for your consideration score up before "Weapons Factory" from Season 2.

I would love to see a box set release and I wonder if FSM, LLL, Intrada, or any other record company has even approached Lucasfilm with interest in releasing these score... if not then please at least try.

Me too. Box set = awesome! Heck, any release would be great.

Have always like Kiner's work. Wing Commander, Stargate SG1, etc. But, his entrance into the Star Wars universe has been terrific.

The show is excellent. And, the scores have always been head and shoulders above the usual tv scoring these days. A box set is a great idea. There is a lot of music/storylines to cover in the years it has been on (currently in season 3).

The FYC score that was up for Season One was probably “Star Wars The Clone Wars: Rising Malevolence". It was nominated Annie Award for Music in an Animated Television Production or Short Form.

It`s a pity is not avalaible for listening ...

Anyway, thx for your efforts !

2-Cd sets with selections for each season scores would be awesome ....

Put me down as another who'd like a CD/2CD/Box release of the SW Clone Wars music, possibly like we've had so far with the rebooted Doctor Who releases from Silva. They've done a great job of getting the music out for people to enjoy and it surprises the heck out of me that something with a huge fan base like Star Wars hasn't managed to do the same thing.

Off topic of Clone Wars but still Star Wars...I'm surprised there hasn't been a re-release or an expanded Ewok movie CD.

Anyone know why?

Greg, the episode was "Rising Malevolence" (some great music there) - I know because in the podcast where I discovered the link, they played selections from it. If you wish to hear the whole podcast with these excerpts then just go to www.latalkradio.com/Jeff.php and scroll down to the show on "Sunday, January 11, 2009". Mr. Kiner actually sounds really tired in the interview and a little out of it, but it's fun to hear all the clips and get some frank comments.

I hope y'all enjoy this as well!

Hear, Hear! Not to mention, the animated series itself is still going strong, which may attract other parties outside the niche 'film score' community with re: to a 2 CD/Box release. E.g. even my daughter (who will be 3 this May) loves the music and series. I could see young adults purchasing the music as well, and perhaps being introduced to the realm and sub-genres of 'film score' music.

Not to mention Star Wars fans in general who would buy it because it has the words 'Star Wars' on it. smile

Aye! Talk about good incentive, profit wise. The name alone would probably sell the soundtrack beyond the 'Clone Wars' series fan base, indeed. But don't quote me on that! razz
