This may prove to be a purely generational interest, but I'm wondering what kind of demand might exist for a CD release of music from the original 1987 Ninja Turtles cartoon series. What comes to mind most immediately are the various ID pieces, for regular segments such as the action sequences, the Channel 6 news sequences, Dimension X, etc.
I know I'd love a release of such tracks, as well as any episode-specific music there might be.
Yes, I grew up with the cartoon (even have it on dvd although I confess I don't watch it that often), but I played with the toys, had the games on nintendo, watched the movies etc.
I'll be honest and say I have a hate/love relationship with the score from the TMNT cartoon though, there are some cues that are great but others are very... overblown and harsh synth. So it's a mixed bag for me.
I'd rather see the scores for Real Ghostbusters, G.I. Joe or Thundercats get a release because those were great all over the chart and would make for better listening experience.
I'd be curious for pure nostalgia value. There are certainly other cartoon shows I grew up on whos scores I'd more interested in having (Any of the 80s Marvel properties, particularly Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends and Dungeons And Dragons) but I'd listen to samples before making a call on it.
This should refresh your memory. Have to say it hasn't dated that well; very 80's and like I said a bit too much at times. The guitar facsimile can get annoying. I do like the terrordome material and Shredder/Krang's ominous music.
I would buy this in a heartbeat! (Though I'm only familiar with the music from the earlier episodes, as those are the ones I saw multiple times growing up, as opposed to any new music that was used in the later seasons.) I'd love to have more '80s cartoon scores on CD, and I'd say this would complete a cartoon trilogy of releases I'd like to have, the others being G.I. Joe and The Real Ghostbusters.
ninja turtle music in any incarnation is completely underrepresented on CD. so i would be interested in this, as well as some other related properties.

I'm surprised you haven't got an episode list for us with cue selections fox

I remember watching the pilot for this series when it first aired back then and grew up watching it. I don't mind some of the music but personally I'd rather have music from the first FILM rather than the TV series.

They could do something like Superman: The Music (1978-1988) and feature all of it. That way all of us would benefit.
