Intrada has a new office in the hills of Oakland. Bigger than their previous office in Oakland and of course much, much bigger than their old digs on Vallejo Street in San Francisco. Good people selling a good product.

Yep. Intrada has an office space in Oakland, up in the Montclair area where they do their business. They're very cool about letting people drop by pick up CDs at their office, as long as you call in advance to see if it's okay.

I knew that was true in their old Oakland location (which was right above my gym). I've not visited the new location.

I've gone up there a few times to pick up stuff. Last time was around Christmas, after Family Plot came out. smile

Francis, have you been hanging around my bathroom again? You know I don't like to be disturbed when I'm taking a bat-dump.

Re: Vallejo Street...I remember buying my "Gold Disc" cd of John Barry's Frances there in the late 90's. Walking in there there the first time was amazing for me. I didn't know until finding Intrada that day, that there were, at the very least, enough soundtrack geeks like me to support an actual store...Super fun memory...
Sorry for the hi-jack! Back to La La land...

Regards,
Mark

I meant to say Oakland before, not Burbank. Their website says they have one:

in April 1999, the store was relocated to its current location in Oakland.

In case you were wondering the giant Coin and Dinosaur were being refurbished when this picture was taken.

wink

As for our offices, like the Batcave it is in a secret underground location. The 150 S Glenoaks is our mailing address.

I feel a little foolish responding to this almost four years after the question, but I just wanted to confirm that La La Land's address is a private mail box.

This is sounding more and more like the X-Files. The truth is out there!

I`ve been at their office (I was invited by M.V. Gerhard) and I can confirm that it is only an office and not a store.

You can try and visit, but you'll have to best Neil S. Bulk at a Star Trek - The Motion Picture trivia quiz to gain entry.

What I recommend is sending an e-mail and letting them know you'll host an open bar at a local establishment for members of their staff.

They'll show up and let you get to know them better.
