Here's the announcement! This is going to be the first of many as we consolidate our catalog and sell off a huge amount of backstock...

News of upcoming CDs: There is one magnificent title we have for July that has been in the works for several years. It is one of the single most beautiful scores ever written. It has taken a long, long time to produce…because we can only work on it at “Golden Hour.”

Something by Delerue or Barry?
Barry would be fine - we have none from FSM since December 2005...
I'm not professional in Delerue's scores, it's Maleficio territory so I hope he can express his opinion smile .
But if it's Barry, I can suppose Body Heat - for me this is really most beautiful score ever written...

I am happy to say that I have all of the discs in this posting already. Some purchased in past sales, some were at full price. All worth owning.

This announcement prompted the film score geek in me that I usually keep submerged! I have volumes 1 & 2 of THE MAN FROM UNCLE sets and volume 3 has been hanging in my wishlist over at SAE forever! The idea that it would go out of print or that I would miss out on the always wonderful FSM liner notes was too much. Panic hit as I raced over to the SAE site. Happy to report that volume 3 is now ordered! Thanks for the heads up! You guys are the best! Keep em' coming!

Ordered The Stripper/Nick Quarry to avoid a repeat of the "I missed Wild Rovers" mistake. smile

Ordered The Egyptian and Conquest of / Battle for the Planet of the Apes.

Granted, it's all going to sit in limbo for a while anyway, thanks to Canada's postal lockout, but I'm patient.

By the way, this thread's ID is #80000. Congrats! smile

It's Ennio Morricone's Days of Heaven. LK already announced this in another thread.

Thanks, I have seen the film a few times, just don't recall the score? I could be in for a treat.

Any of the Man from Uncle 3 left? The website indicates it's no longer available, though the message indicated 60 were left. Did they all go?
