4DVD have announced the UK DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of The Inbetweeners Movie on 12th December 2011.
Available on DVD (£19.99 RRP) and Triple Play Blu-ray (£27.99 RRP), the releases contains over 2 hours of previously unseen material including a feature length ‘Making Of’ following the cast as they filmed in London, Malia and Magaluf; hilarious additional scenes which see Mr Gilbert on a stag do and Jay getting his first tattoo; behind-the-scenes videos from the boys on set; and laugh-out-loud, never-before-seen bloopers alongside a host of other exclusives.
The Triple Play also includes an exclusive, 18-certificate full-length Extended Cut of the film, with commentaries from writers Damon Beesley and Iain Morris and from the four male leads.

LOVE the series but was real pissed with the ending of Series 3 and I wonder if the end was done to drum up interest in the film since it felt like another episode and not a climax and there was no real closure in the episode even though it seemed to start as one last outing for the boys.
The film however did wrap things up and was wonderful send off for the gang and along with Will's dad making an appearance, it seemed to throw enough bits to give the series a fine closing.

Channel 4 has announced that its film division has ordered a sequel to smash-hit film The Inbetweeners Movie, starring Blake Harrison, Simon Bird, James Buckley and Joe Thomas.
The first film, a spin-off from hit E4 teen coming-of-age sitcom The Inbetweeners, was a runaway success at the box office when it opened in August 2011 and is understood to have netted around £45 million to date - all from a budget of just £3 million. A release in US cinemas is due on 7th September.
Damon Beesley, the series and film's co-creator and co-writer (alongside Iain Morris) told The Sun today: "I don't want to give too much away at this stage but yes, we have been developing an idea for a sequel. We miss working with Simon, Joe, James and even Blake too much not to give it a go."
The newspaper reports that the stars are due to earn £2.5 million each from the follow-up, having been paid a relatively meagre £100,000 each for the low-budget original - although they all received £400,000 bonuses on the back of the film's success.
No further details regarding the new film are available at present, but The Sun claims a possible premise to be the boys reuniting for the stag do of Neil, played by Blake Harrison.
The news of a sequel will not come as too great a surprise to industry watchers, with the box office success of the first outing proving that cinema go-ers have a healthy appetite for home-grown British comedy films. A big screen outing for Alan Partridge is now in production; a Keith Lemon movie will be released this Friday; Harry Hill has revealed that he is working on a film script; and rumours about film spin-offs for shows including Red Dwarf and Absolutely Fabulous have been renewed - all since The Inbetweeners Movie's runaway success.

The creative team behind 2011 box office smash The Inbetweeners Movie today confirmed that a second movie is in production and will be released in cinemas across the UK & Ireland early August 2014.
The follow-up to the UK’s most successful comedy film of all time will be shot later this year.
It will reuniting hapless teenagers Jay, Neil, Simon and Will, played by James Buckley, Blake Harrison, Joe Thomas and Simon Bird.
The comedy made $67m (£45m) at the UK box office in 2011 and raked in a further $20m when it rolled out internationally.
Creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley said: “We couldn’t be more excited to be making another Inbetweeners movie with Simon, Joe, James and Blake. Frankly it’s pathetic how much we’ve all missed each other. A new chapter in the lives of the Inbetweeners feels like the very least we can do to thank the fans for their phenomenal response to the first movie.”
The film will be produced by Bwark Productions who will co-finance with Channel 4/Film4. Bwark is a Zodiak Media Company and Zodiak Rights are the international sales agent. Entertainment Film Distributors will distribute the film in the UK.
Screen understands that Chris Young, of Young Films, who was a producer on the first film, will not return for the sequel.
Having started life on digital TV channel E4, the multi award-winning series went on to enjoy major success with its debut film, The Inbetweeners Movie, which was fully financed by Channel 4.

The Inbetweeners movie sequel is to be set in Australia, its writers have revealed.
Creators of the hit E4 sitcom, which was spun-off to its own feature film in 2011, Iain Morris and Damon Beesley said in a statement: "So, the news is (drumroll)... filming is about to start and yes, it's set in Australia. We can't say too much as we don't want to spoil the jokes for you, but what we can exclusively reveal is there will be kangaroos. And Australians. And possibly koalas. Oh and obviously Jay, Will, Neil and Simon providing they're let into the country."
They added: "Thanks so much for all your support, we're hoping to deliver a film that you'll enjoy even more than the last one."
The first Inbetweeners Movie was a surprise and runaway smash-hit success. With takings to date nearing £60 million, it is the most successful British comedy film of all time.
Spencer Millman, a producer formerly with Avalon Television whose credits include Greg Davies's recent Channel 4 sitcom Man Down and mainstream ITV hit Harry Hill's TV Burp, will oversee the production.
Filming is expected to begin shortly, with a release date already set for Wednesday 6th August 2014.
