I have signatures by some of these guys from various events. Michael Giacchino (Star Trek, Star Trek: DE, UP, Incredibles, Let Me In) Alan Sylvestri (Predator, Back to the Future (Intrada), Young Guns II, Forest Gump) Jerry Goldsmith (Star Trek: TMP - 20th Anniversary Edition) Bear McCreary (All of his BSG scores, except Caprica Season 1) Cliff Eidelman (Star Trek VI (Both OST and Intrada releases), Big Miracle) Brian Tyler (Children of Dune) Stu Phillips (BSG - Pilot (Varese), BSG - Pilot (Intrada)) Christopher Lennertz (Medal of Honor Soundtrack Collection) Cliff Martinez (Traffic) Christopher Young (Urban Legend promo, The Fly II, Species) Craig Safan (The Last Starfighter, Remo: Unarmed and Dangerous) and a fair few others I can't think of at the moment. I would LOVE to have James Horner sign his Star Trek scores, but he's a very reclusive man by all accounts.

Myself and a couple friends managed to snag Zimmer before the Varese concert last time. He was nervous but I kept him talking. Next thing we knew all our stuff was signed and we wished him well for the concert and went on.

Actually when you get closer to him and play by the rules, he is a very nice and kind and he would be probably still signing stuff for all the people that were trying to reach him in Vienna, but the problem were the organizers who immediately started pushing him away. Even his bodyguards were more friendly than that. Obviously he is quite shy and timid and not too fond of big crowds pushing towards him and likes to protect his own privacy, but who could blame him? Especially considering what some asshole did as soon as he entered the concert hall, but I still think that it might had been some sort of cunning plan to keep the bodyguards busy while some other guy got something quickly signed in the meantime (the only person that got lucky before the 2nd concert). What happened at the concert hall? Was it just as he entered the concert house from the blue carpet session? I noticed his bodyguards seemed to rush him along after he got inside, but didn't notice anything special happening beforehand. Would've been great to get an autograph, but the concert was so good that it really didn't matter that much that I didn't get one. I was there. Horner gave a lengthy "official" interview to the ORF (Austrian Network TV) which was covering the event, and once that was done, he walked straight into the concert hall, surrounded by two bodyguards, ignoring all the fans on the sidelines calling his name... Luckily I got to meet him at the symposium and got an autograph there. For people who came only to the concert, it was virtually impossible.
