One of my favorite films from adolescence and the score was always a huge part of that enjoyment. Picked up a Canadian cassette copy of the soundtrack on a trip to Montreal years ago, as the album was OOP in the U.S. at the time.

Knew some of Peter Gabriel's "normal" music beforehand, but hadn't heard "The Rhythm Of The Heat" before hearing the Birdy version in the Tombstone trailer. Love the whole soundtrack now, especially that opening track, "At Night." Not for everyone, but great for me!

I have the LP. Interesting stuff indeed. It's really a forerunner for a band like Deep Forest.

This may be of interest to fans of this score - a new 2LP release will be available July 23 that is Half-Speed Remastered and cut to lacquers at 45rpm.

Lest anyone complain that it's vinyl, the set contains a download card with a choice of digital download (Hi-Res 24bit/44.1k or 16bit/44.1k).
