Seven more to go as from the date of this posting.

Is there any worth/harm/benefit, as each of the remaining CDs are released, in providing a statement to the effect that, "this will be the last release of this composer on the FSM label"?

This way the label still isn't revealing anything about what's coming up, but we get to know whether or not to expect anything regarding a particular composer (for those of cats whose curiosity is starting to kill us).

Actually, I was going to post that these latest two are our last respective Goldsmith and Williams albums. It's been fun! (And Quincy Jones.)

So no FSM Goldsmith "Star Trek." frown

Ah . . . but perhaps the Rosenman "Star Trek"? smile

Captain, when I think of their unreleased or completed gems you presented, it shakes me. It quakes me. It makes me feel goose pimply all over.

As a result. I ordered both 20 minutes ago.

No more Quincy Jones means no MacKenna's Gold. Bah.

Still, with Goldsmith and Williams now out of the reckoning, the chances of a Rozsa are improved.

It's a bit sad, yes, but I hope and think the other labels will pick up where they left off.

So hopefully plenty of Williams goodies, in particular, to look forward to (esp. old and unreleased stuff).

Well, it's obvious we will get a Volume 2 of "Tom and Jerry & Tex Avery Too", right? May i remind the board that there is a Volume 1 (Tom and Jerry & Tex Avery Too! Vol. 1: The 1950s (1952-1958) ) ...so if there's a Volume 1, there's a Volume 2...correct?

Well, there's also a Lalo Schifrin Scores Vol 1 set, and Lukas has said there'll be no further box sets, so there certainly won't be a Schifrin Vol 2. There's nothing more we can be obviously certain of getting now.

I'm glad Gremlins has come now, so the remaining releases can be total surprises!

It will be fair, especially if we remember that last Barry CD from FSM was 6 (!!!) years ago...

I think we can expect from Rozsa, at least, the ultimate edition of BEN HUR.

How about 'King of Kings' instead? Its OOP, and quite pricey on the secondary marketplace. 'Ben Hur' is still available by Sony, and it's a fine release, nothing wrong with it IMO.

Thank you for these two, and all the other fine Goldsmith and Williams releases you have added to my shelves.

Would certainly be nice to have one Barry score in the final batch but we'll just have to wait and see.
