Some fresh news. That's it, we fixed these "so-called" legal issues. So we plan to release L'IMPRÉCATEUR on September 2012. We are happy to conclude this very long process and to make Richard Rodney Bennett's brilliant score available on CD with a new remastered sound. Another score by an Oscar winning composer and never released before will be added for this CD release !
First day of a long expected weekend and my expectations are alreday fulfilled : bravo la belle équipe! Le long voyage s'achève enfin... Souhaitez-vous que je supprime d'ores et déjà mes liens vers mon rip du 33 Tours? And is the second score related somehow to Rodney Bennett's? Does it share the same mood?

One more sale here, wonderful, just wonderful film music.
Hi, ajhfsm.
I notice you've been following my "top 5" R.R. Bennett (and my Piero Piccioni posts).
Glad you love L'IMPRECATEUR, which is an acquired taste.
It's also amazing just how many soundtracks we share appreciation on.
Well ... if you love the music by Bennett & by Piccioni, then I think you should also like scores by Stanley Myers (his styles blend some continental/Euro aesthetics with that of the English).
Check my thread on Myers (if you haven't already done so )
Hard to believe that "Lady Caroline Lamb" is not selling, it is a ravishingly beautiful score! Bennett is one of my favorite composers.
It is, indeed, a wonderfully decadent and classy score. Sound quality is fantastic given its almost half-century vintage; sounds like it could have been recorded yesterday. So many great baroque nuances and flourishes in the orchestration. Ah, the days of thorough compositional finesse...
