Once again, thanks for sharing. I can't wait to hear how Williams uses his themes in the movie. There are so many themes that manage to be sentimental and pretty but, still, very distinct from one another. And I'm particularly in love with the more expansive melody he uses on piano and a few times with weepy strings. So lyrical and expressive, yet with a fairly simple arrangment and chord progression. I noticed in one of the few early reviews of the film, the guy singled out Williams for being about the only person in Hollywood who doesn't disappoint. Sounds like hyperbole but I can relate to the sentiment. Hopefully the movie won't disappoint either.

I think we're gonna have 2011's best score here. Followed closely by Tintin.
Both by Williams. Coincidence? I don't think so. IMHO of course.
Thanks (again) for sharing!

thanks Eric for your great show,

I can't believe what I just discovered in War Horse, hit me right in the center of my heart. I love Tintin, but I immideately fell absolutely in love with those excerpts from War Horse. Can't believe it, even with high expectations this overwhelmed me, especially the second set of cues.
