There was suppose to be a track entitled "The Wedding" from Ravenna's marriage on the soundtrack. What happened to it, and how can I find it now?

It just didn't flow with the rest of the album so we removed it at the last minute. It was a fairly short piece anyway.

Thanks for the tip. Also, thanks for raise the choir volume a bit this time.

This is a really rich, thematic, beautiful score. I'm really digging the "classic" JNH sound. May not be his best, but its a damn good listen. Haven't heard him do anything like this in a decade.

In the year that has seen a fine score for The Hunger Games... and we shall soon hear what JNH has done with his installment of Bourne... Snow White and the Huntsman arrived. And, pleased to say... just wonderful. His best work? No... But, the type of score that really surprised me how much I like it... and one that seems to get better with each and every listen. Needless to say... I am hooked. Love it.

I'm really enjoying getting to know this score.
I enjoyed the film at the cinema far more than I expected to and noticed the score, quite a few times, standing out in a good old fashioned JNH way.
It's a shame a few action tracks lame-out into MV/RC territory, but I'm sure the producers didn't want their fairy tale sounding old-fashioned with that pesky symphonic sound!
Otherwise, it's a solid score by Sir JN of H, recalling, at times, his stellar work for MNShamalam.
I've enjoyed his 'return to form' this year with the rustic, folksy HUNGER GAMES and this, for the most part, quite beautiful work.
I'm not as excited about his forthcoming BOURNE score, as I cannot see it deviating that much from his SALT score and similar John Powell soundtracks, but we'll see.

Just FYI -

This score is only $5 right now in the Amazon.com MP3 store. Well worth it!

Just saw this on DVD and was surprised I liked it more than I thought I would. It's infinitely better than that awful MIRROR MIRROR.

And it was nice to have the old James Newton Howard back. Where has this guy been the last several years???

James

Mirror Mirror was better. For all its silliness it at least had some energy. Huntsman was dreadfully boring and took itself far too seriously.

Home Shopping Network gets clips on first? Why can't James have somebody, such as, Stuart M. Thomas post some samples on his site? Being a member, hopefully Stuart could look into that.

If I had the power to manipulate the retail world like that, I would rule. I would be not dark but beautiful and terrible as the Morn! Treacherous as the Seas! Stronger than the foundations of the Earth! All shall love me and despair!

So...obviously I don't have that kind of power...

Cool video. Thanks for sharing it. He is my favorite living composer, and I always cross my fingers for a great score from him in future movies.

Sorry, it doesn't start with a "N." However, that would have been fun.

So it's not Joan Newton Hue?

Composers must hate sound effects with a passion. frown Much how I felt when I had to cover up my art with copy.
