This is a great place to burn youtube clips to CD.

I use it all the time.

Anyone else using it?

Why is youtube legal then?

Why should it be illegal once a clip turns into an mp3?

I'd say it's about as legal as "youtube" itself; posting media for which it doesn't own the rights. Plus this board allows youtube vids to be posted.

There are many sites where you can post the youtube url that'll allow you to save to mp3, mp4, ... But don't kid yourself, youtube quality is in most cases a minimum.

It is great to save interviews or rare tv moments of composers for instance.

I'm very aware that the sound quality isn't the best, but I have always been more interested in the music itself than in the sound quality, so it doesn't really bother me.
