I ended up changing my mind and going for the last freebie I didn't have before, the Rosenman stuff, and ordered:

Poltergeist (if you can believe it, the improved "The Prize" stuff matters more for me!)
Valley Of The Kings/Men Of The Fighting Lady
The Seventh Sin (these two mean I now have every Rozsa FSM release)
Crossed Swords
Two Weeks In Another Town (might as well clean up on Raksin too now that I have the boxed set)

Thanks for a great offer! smile I went for the three Leonard Rosenman CDs; Prophecy has been on my wish list for a while and I have been curious about A Man Called Horse. I suspect The Cobweb/Edge of the City might be too "old" for my taste but I will definately listen to it with an open mind.

I ordered 3 Horner scores and 3 Goldsmith scores:

THE HOMECOMING: A CHRISTMAS STORY / RASCALS AND ROBBERS
ISLANDS IN THE STREAM
UNDER FIRE
STAR TREK III: THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK
STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN

I have all of those except Poltergeist, including the Rosenman cd giveaways. I really enjoyed A Man Called Horse and Prophecy. Some may tire of the chants on A Man Called Horse, I think they are great. Interesting to compare A Man Called Horse to John Barry's Dances With Wolves. Both are tales of a white man joining the Sioux; admittedly Dances With Wolves is set about 40 years after A Man Called Horse.

I caved last night and made use of this offer...

I ordered:

Elmer Bernstein - BRIDGE AT REMEGAN / Maurice Jarre - THE TRAIN
Leslie Bricusse, conducted and supervised by John Williams - GOODBYE, MR. CHIPS
Ennio Morricone - FRANTIC
Lalo Schifrin - THE LIQUIDATOR
Lalo Schifrin - THE WRATH OF GOD

And I got the TV OMNIBUS as my free item. Thanks Lukas and SAE!

I was tempted to finally get the Rozsa box and get two free items, but I couldn't justify spending that much so soon after the Herrmann Fox Box! I will get it... eventually!

Lukas, will the FSM label be releasing any new titles between now and when this offer expires?

FSM CD #244 is at the plant now and will probably be on sale shortly before Xmas, but while I like it, it's not the kind of super-anticipated album like Gremlins that you might expect from our last batch of CDs. (That's because it took ages and ages to finish!) #245, which IS a very exciting title, may or may not be done by then, we are working as fast as we can.

Thanks,

Lukas

*bump*

So, since #245 was at one point thought it could possibly be out before XMas, and its now January 11th, it has to be done or almost done at the plant at this point, right?

I wonder if it will be announced this week, or maybe next?

I'm very excited for this "very exciting" title!
