I share your frustration, man, in no small part because they control so many scores by our beloved Goldsmith!
I'm sure they'll get to some of the bigger titles like 13th Warrior but I'm worried they won't bother with things like Love Field and as a Goldsmith completist I want to have those complete too! (even Mr. Baseball!)
Then there are personal favorite titles of mine like Debney's lovely Paulie or Eidelman's magnum opus, Christopher Columbus which will probably never see the light of day in complete form...

Goldsmith sells, so you never know, although I'm not really interested in an expanded Love Field, Angie or Malice. And I actually think The 13th Warrior is fine as it is. Can't wait though for an expanded Small Soldiers and The Haunting.
But we've already had deluxe editions of Die Hard 2, The Abyss, Nemesis. And Predator 2 is coming later this year. So they are doing something with their back catalogue, just not very fast

Just updated the main post because there was ~6 scores they've now given the Deluxe Edition to since this thread started. Not a ton left!
My biggest request remains Air Force One.

There are indeed a ton of Varese "in perpetuity" titles left; you just haven't listed them in your first post. MV and others have confirmed that the vast majority of Varese 90s releases included perpetuity rights (even new releases of older scores like Forever Amber or Goldsmith's two Flint scores, which is why Intrada couldn't include the film recordings with their release of the LP recordings). There were only a few exceptions (usually for smaller companies like StudioCanal): Total Recall, Basic Instinct, Dead Again, Cool World, etc. are some that have been released by other labels. BTW you should also update Peggy Sue Got Married. That was confirmed as a perpetuity title when Varese put out their DE.

I don't really think it makes sense to list a title unless it's specifically confirmed. If you have a source for any of your new entries, please share!

Forever Amber and The Other were confirmed by Bruce Kimmel. The Flint scores by Roger F. of Intrada. I know Planet of the Apes was confirmed but I don't remember by who. But I think it's silly to expect people at the other labels to specifically confirm or deny whether Varese controls each specific title. Multiple people have confirmed that as a rule (with a few exceptions) Varese got perpetuity agreements for their releases from some time in 1989 onwards. There is a lot more they control beyond the few "officially confirmed" titles you list here, so whether you have 100% confirmation on them or not, it is indisputable that there are "a ton left" that only Varese can release. Unfortunately.
