Just noticed a pre-order status on GG's Panic Button, one of those vinyl LPs hitherto unavailable on CD.
This soundtrack reissue will materialize via a U.K. label called "Skokiaan", which is unfamiliar to me. I expect this to be yet another instance of an album (over 50 years in age) in public domain within the E.C. Legit or not, this incarnation of Panic Button will likely be the only version to be released onto digital media as consumer interest in this type of musical content is dwindling rather rapidly...
... any interested parties should attempt to secure a copy of this Panic Button because we may never receive subsequent opportunities on PB with respect to other sources and/or labels.
Half a year elapsed since Intrada issued That Man in Istanbul ... and still no FSMer has commented here within on this disc.
So far, That Man is likely my 2nd favorite Georges Garvarentz score ... but I admit there's much more GG that I haven't yet heard than those albums which I do have.
Many thanks to Intrada for getting this one out of the Mainstream vaults and into circulation.
I see that "Un Beau Monstre" is listed on the Dusty Groove site as coming soon -- a CD release from a label called "Early Dawn," which I've never heard of. I did a little bit of internet searching but the only relevant hits were of other internet stores indicating that it was coming soon.

I too noticed the "Un Beau Monstre" listing at Dusty. Hopefully available soon.
I flagged That Man From Istanbul for purchase since it was announced.
Since there are huge specialists of Garvarentz such as Dorian taking part in this thread, I'd like to mention that the full Ep of UN TAXI POUR TOBROUK has been re-released on CD by Milan a few weeks ago in France. It's part of a tribute to the famous singer Charles Aznavour but the contents are entirely different than the previous one issued by Playtime a few years ago. Here's the detailed track-listing:
Mind that UN TAXI stems from the original master tape of the Ep whereas some other tracks of this anthology have unfortunately been taken straight from vinyle sources (the Jarre stuff in particular).
There are various tracks by Garvarentz spread over compilations such as the excellent main title of UN JUGE, UN FLIC on the 4th CD of DU RIFIFI AU CINE but it's clear we need more stuff. I have the TV series QUENTIN DURWARD, LES MOHICANS DE PARIS / SALVATORE ET LES MOHICANS DE PARIS, LA LUMIERE DES JUSTES on DVD and their scores for instance clearly deserved to be released on CD.
