Will the FSM Print Archive DVD ever be made available again at SAE? Figured that one was homemade, and would remain in print ad-infinitum. Yes, it should - let me ask them what's up. Lukas I want this DVD, too.

Five of these titles are on my massive FSM want list, so I've just picked up the three with the lowest quantity - Two Weeks In Another Town Point Blank / The Outfit The Yakuza and hope the other two will last a while longer until I have more spare funds!

Hey Lukas, got any more Flim-Flam Man? SAE has a used copy (unsealed) at $39.95 - http://www.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/12806/FLIM-FLAM-MAN-GIRL-NAMED-SOONER/ Lukas $40 for a CD that has been literally put in the trash by FSM a couple of months ago o so… seems a bit disgusting. If this is the final result of the “clearance sales”, I would prefer not to see titles discounted anymore. Ferro: We discounted Flim-Flam Man to sell out last year because Twilight Time was releasing a DVD and we believed (erroneously, it turned out) a reissue CD would be forthcoming as well; we wanted to get our version out of the marketplace out of respect for the would-be reissue company. I hope this helps mitigate your disgust. Thanks Lukas

The Print Archive covers a lot of ground, obviously. It's a massive resource. I like having it onhand.

No, the print archive is solely the print editions. The FSMO guys control the online editions and those are website-only. Lukas

Thanks for the DVDR FSM Archive info. It is an indispensable resource for doing film score research for those of us that are not a part of the proper "cirlces of influence." :-) I asked about availability bc there were some posts showing up on the Trading Post that were asking for it; I didn't want some clever lad (or lass) to start ripping this thing, and then selling it to other members. As far as frustrations go, we all experience them regarding the releases. And with so many monthly releases, it is almost impossible to be "caught-up," even if one has the available resources. For me, I can maybe handle 7-10 new titles a month, after that, it's just collecting, and I'm not listening to the music, or taking notes. So, since the announcement, I've missed: Judge Roy Bean; McQ; and Morituri. It happens.
