It appears director Roger Mitchell is reuniting with composer Jeremy Sams on his new film HYDE PARK ON HUDSON. Mitchell & Sams previously worked together on PERSUASION in 1995, THE MOTHER in 2003, and ENDURING LOVE in 2004. The film looks great and has a wonderful cast. You can see the trailer here:

The film looks just my cup of tea. Not familiar with Jeremy Sams though.

Is that from Enduring Love? If so I think I'll check out the CD. Always happy to discover a new composer.

Looks cute. Loved Enduring Love and the score for it.

That Enduring Love music is trance-enducing....in a good way. I listen to it constantly.

I also have to give Enduring Love credit for showing the aftermath of a fall from said balloon

What an oxymoronic experience last evening : an exquisite score for an absolute stinker!

That was one of the most disturbing corpses I've ever seen in a movie, and I've seen a LOT of horror films.

Just seconding all the praise for the HYDE PARK score -- it reminded me a lot of Richard Rodney Bennett, and that can only be a good thing.

I just found this thread, I saw this movie yesterday in the cinema and had similar thoughts. The best score I've heard in a long time! smile
