Yes, they were tracked into other shows (The Chameleon, for example) Much of THE ZANTI MISFITS used cues recycled from Frontiere's previous work on STONEY BURKE. And of course OL cues were used on the pilot episode of THE INVADERS and season 4 of THE FUGITIVE. If you search here for threads on Harry Lubin you'll find the links to the music library site which has all his stuff and you can play & listen to whole cues. I think itunes and/or Amazon purchased the rights from production music label Warner Chappell to retail SOME suites (or parts of same) from Lubin’s library (though probably only in lo-fi mp3 format), such as was kindly posted by someone here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24Cfgnm4dWQ But the really sad thing is when some of your favorite Lubin (or Frontiere) music was likely composed and recorded only for the show. At least one case in point is from “Keeper of the Purple Twilight”; that brief but haunting thing when that night scene opens outside of Janet’s home up until Ikar materializes in her bedroom. If only that piece was available as a high sound quality stem, but the analog master probably never made it into Lubin’s library Thus, it was likely trashed long before ever being commercially digitized and in 16 bit/44kHz CD quality. That likely explains why apparently no one has ever referred to it by any title. Thus, in the unlikely event we collectors finally get a great sounding Outer Limits Second season CD boxed set from LL Land, Intrada, Kritzerland or other reputable label, that Lubin piece probably won’t be on the track list. Please let me know if I’m wrong about any of this. It would be a nice surprise.
