I know have more Goldsmith cds then anyone else. He's probably my second favorite. Conti is my favorite. The reason I have more Goldsmith cds is because he has more then Conti. But I'm really enjoying all the Goldsmith cds! Just listened to INCHON yesterday which I loved. Please give more Goldsmith recommendations, I'm always looking for more.smile

I agree. Papillon is one of Jerry's absolute best.

We don't know your taste and it would be impossible for 20 people to say GET THIS SCORE and twenty others to say AVOID THAT SCORE, so get what ever you can, all of it is worth your time.

You're right, Peter. Goldsmith has such a vast catalogue and so many terrific scores that it is impossible to boil it down to a few works. I have around 150 Goldsmith CDs and treasure them all.

Hi Henry. I don't know if you have it already but The Spiral Road is down to less than 20 copies at the Varese homepage. It's not one to miss if you can help it.

I would put The Spiral Road very low on the list, Henry!

A subject line with a small clue about what the topic is would be useful.

Dude, so you go to threads not to comment or offer anything positive, but only to post a complaint, but have nothing to add to the discussion. Wow, that takes a certain type of person. I feel very very sorry for you sir, I really do.

Congrats Henry on the Jerry stuff, he has a few good scores out there, lol smile

The thread title question is supposed to be a mystery to draw readers in.wink

Hey there Henry...

Check out the recent Perserverance LILLIES OF THE FIELD. Very nice re-issue. Of course, I strongly recommend the OMEN trilogy. In particular, THE FINAL CONFLICT. My favorite Jerry Goldsmith score of all time... His work for director Paul Verhoeven... top notch. TOTAL RECALL, BASIC INSTINCT and HOLLOW MAN. His work with directors Joe Dante and Richard Franklin... and most importantly... Franklin J. Shaffner.

I would recommend "Freud" too if only the original version of "Desperate Case" was restored. I would recommend "Q.B.VII", "Chinatown" and "Lionheart".
