1. Costuming a Dark Night (0:34)
2. Superhero Reject (2:00)
3. My Favorite Batman (0:39)

Music from "The Catman Rises" (dir. by Wong Fu Productions)

Featuring Batman inspired music, where I parodied the Danny Elfman theme, but gave it a hint of Hans Zimmer's Batman sound from the Chris Nolan movies. This embodies the fantasy world of the imagination, where anyone can be Batman. But in reality, he's just an adult running around in a badly homemade costume, so I brought out my toys for Superhero Reject (toy piano, toy bells, and finally dusted off my kazoo and used it in a piece), to represent the childlike absurdity of the costume and situation.

released 18 July 2012

Music composed, performed, and produced by George Shaw (clarinet, kazoo, percussion)
