considering that Noel Clarke and Mark Davis’ film is hopelessly contrived and tedious

Please, 4.3.2.1. isn't that good... I'm surprised it didn't go straight to CABLE. (Curiously, the last time Emma "only good performance in the movie" Roberts came over to this side of the Atlantic the result - Wild Child - also went straight to DVD on that side.)

Get the Gringo is on my Netflix queue. I've been looking forward to it for awhile now.

Will Fox Cinema Archives will also put some of their television series on D.V.D.-R. (e.g., "12 o'Clock High", "The Felony Squad"). I hope so!

It's Mel at his most badass a la Payback (though not quite as good). I bought it on a whim and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Effing sweet blog, by the way - I read most of the entries going back three months and plan to flag it for future reading. Most impressive my friend!

I wasn't much a fan of Payback, but I've been meaning to rent the Director's Cut to see if I like that version better.

Hey, thanks. smile I rarely get feedback on it outside of one or two friends on Facebook, so it's always nice to know somebody has read it. Haha!!
