Wonderful score from Armstrong. If there really is 50+ minutes worth of score from this film, then it really shouldn't need to be accompanied by another score for a release. I'm not sure what the situation is behind this music or the logistics of releasing it, but I'd buy it in a heartbeat, and with the popularity of the film itself, I have to imagine there would be an audience for it.
Yes, please! Lots of good stuff. I know some people (like my kids) don't particularly care for LOVE ACTUALLY, but we watch it every year around this time.
Again, the music from Love Actually was used in a high profile production... The Oscars!!! (I previously heard it played for one of the Olympic figure skating competitions)
I wonder if 2018 will finally see this full score released.
There was a montage tonight celebrating 90 years at the Oscars, and there was this grand musical piece near the end of the montage. Now that I see this thread, I'm sure it was from Love Actually. Yes, time to release this on CD.
I would be ecstatic if this was released! I have only recently started listening to Armstrong's scores and I'm really enjoying them. Besides Love Actually I'm a big fan of his score for In Time.
