I have also ordered a copy yesterday from italian amazon. No way I would support bunch of thiefs that is french amazon charging like 12-15 fucking euros for shipping of a single CD (within EU!!!). With Italian Amazon 6 CDs ordered (most of them also cheaper than if I got them from France) and the whole shipping cost for all was even less than I would pay for a single CD if ordered from France! (about 12,3 EUR for shipping of 6 CDs from Italy).

This arrived today.
Not at all how I expected it to sound.
I guess I was expecting the usual sweet, romantic, lyrical Rombi score. The cover added to those expectations (I know nothing about the film and haven't researched it yet).
Very strident and urgent main theme, repetitive, insistent. Quite modern sounding with distorted leccy guitar(?) in some cues.
I haven't heard it all yet, but I'm not expecting too much sweetness from the rest of the score.
It's a million miles away from the adventuresome/80's knock-off that was New War Of The Buttons.
I hope it's a grower.

Indeed it's a very different Rombi score but the music is great nonetheless.

Relistening to this now.
Track 10 has just come along sounding like it's from another era! All smoochy jazz and Golden Age.
Otherwise, still lots of unease and suspense.
The violin stuff is a bit JNH-like via his M Night scores. I'm getting a slight Signs vibe too, with some Herrmann/Desplat shenanigans thrown into the mix.

Thx for the heads up -- I'll keep my eyes peeled. Surely not going to buy from France. I hope this doesn't take too long to find here in the states as I'm getting the shakes from being new Rombi depleted for way too long now.

Get it from Italy then.

btw, excellent score and imho even one of Rombi's best. It's definitely much closer to his magical and darker score for SWIMMING POOl that some of his more famous and overly sweet scores, but I just love it... even some of those jazzy moments here and there and I am very rarely fan of jazz music... quite variable score, which will probably make far more sense after seeing the movie I know nothing about.

Finally got around to download it - and it is amazingly good.

An instant favorite of RombiĀ“s score for me.

Hey, it looks like I missed this one. Does anybody know any place to get this great CD for a reasonable price? That would really help.
Thank you.

It's 30$ but it's the only one I was able to find out!
