So, it seems to me that this version is now unavailable, so does that mean La La Land can finally release their definitive edition?

I sure hope so. My new most wanted complete by Williams.

I have the Perseverance and it sounds much better than the previous edition with the digital distortion. I think this is one case where the original LP plays very well and is fully representative of the score.

I think it plays better without the second rendition of "Dance of the Witches" which is exactly the same five-minute recording as the first. I prefer to end the disc with "The Children's Carousel" track.

If you heard the alternate of The Ballroom scene you’d prob rethink this.

But it's no problem to do that, as you can just stop there. smile

Could be, who knows. The album plays fine for me the way it is, but of course that does not automatically mean it couldn't be improved.
