“The New Girl”

No, no, no, no, NO! It's not The New Girl, just as it's not The Gilmore Girls, The Girls, The Gossip Girl, The Revolution, The Last Resort or The Modern Family - it's New Girl.

Nail on the bloody head, vis-a-vis LOOPER. I'm at a loss as to why Rian Johnson introduced this fascinating idea, only to (not unlike Anthony Fremont) wish it into the cornfield (I know that it was a cane field in the movie. Work with me, here.) Not a bad movie, but nowhere near the masterpiece people seem to be painting it as.

Also, I wholeheartedly second the recommendation for PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER. Funny at times and quite moving in others. Still, no mention of Ezra Miller's terrific work?

The Streets of San Francisco . . . Fifth and final season of the classic CBS prime-time cop drama . . .

Although this series is being released on DVD by Paramount/CBS, the show originally aired on ABC.

Do you really watch all these Blu's and DVD's? or do you skim them? I can't imagine anyone getting thru all this material.
