Coool... but is it really necessary with the anthology, which sounded pretty good?

btw, too bad it won't be ready for the upcoming dark del signing or that signed copies aren't available...

Oooo, this is so very NICE! These were out of print before I started collecting and I've always wanted them, but I always held off due to the unreasonable prices. I am very excited for this opportunity to get BOTH scores now for one great price! Thanks a million BSX!

Just when you thought it was safe to pay off your credit card....

Dang!

This is a great opportunity for me as I missed the previous incarnations. This will be my first Hellraiser score purchase. Very cool.

Nice ! I have the original releases and also picked up the Anthology set dirt cheap, but since they're all out of print, a great chance for folks to grab two absolutely brilliant horror scores at a bargain.

Excellent work, BSX

i was wondering how much the sound is different from original releases,
and if the remastered is from original master tapes or not (just gain and reverb)

Yes, it was necessary. Previous release is from 2003 and is long out of print.

Uh, then what ARE you asking because that answer pretty much... explained your question?

I'll pass. I already have the english CD signed by Clive Barker and the CD with unreleased themes composed by Coil and it's not my kind of music...

I do really love these two Chris Young scores and have the original CD releases from way back in the late 80's. However, maybe I should invest due to the remastered sound? I would need to keep the GNP Crescendo version of HELLBOUND, I guess, since it has those extra tracks from Young's HIGHPOINT score.

We went back to the digital masters from Chris Young's archive for HELLRAISER..

We had the digital master for the HELLBOUND album (It helps to have been the producer of that release)...

James Nelson at DIGITAL OUTLAND has done a great job in remastering both titles.
