With the obvious love for Basil Poledouris at Intrada (in particular Doug Fake)... I would hope this would be one of the titles re-issued by them. So-so movie... Fantastic (as usual) score by Mr. Poledouris.
It's now going for a small fortune. When (and if) you can find it.
While we're at it I hope Basil's FLIGHT OF THE INTRUDER also gets a legit release. UNDER SIEGE 2 is another great action score of his from the 90's that would benefit from an expansion.
I hope there is definately more Poledouris in store for 2013.
Yes, I'd like a reissue please. This is the only score by Poledouris that is missing from my collection. I can't remember why I didn't buy it before it sold out and now I definitely can't pay the top $ it's going for.
I too missed the original release of Switchback. Like Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation and Barbarian and The Geisha, which I also missed, I hope some label will rerelease this score.
another one here who would love a re-release of Switchback. By the time I came to soundtracks this had long sold out and as others have said, this goes for crazy money on the odd occasions one appears (same for Intrada's Miracle on 34th Street which also deserves to be rereleased.
