i think that Brian May Road Warrior deserves a re recording because he composed the best music for that movie and the tapes seems to be lost,
the best music Brian May ever wrote,by mine meaning.

I'm not crazy about them, but I agree this is his finest work and deserving of a re-recording.

A re-recording of the complete scores would be great. Though I love both of them... SURVIVOR and HARLEQUIN remain my top favorites by the late, great Brian May.
Excellent music all around.

Sounds like a great plan. I'd advise you get on that.

You know who I'd love to see tackle this one? William Stromberg and company.

Granted, it's not their typical project - but the score does have a Herrmann-esque quality. If anyone could recreate the power of those action cues, it's him.

So unlikely, as it's my ALL TIME favorite score, but one can dream....

I used to 'fantasize' about McNeely/RSNO getting their paws on this
one.

Well since the masters were lost or erased. Is it possible that a label could just get the score off the film stems like LLLR did with Friday the 13th 1-5? Or no?
