"Fear of Victory" by Lisa Bloom and Carlos Rodriguez
A short score - it can't be more than ten or fifteen minutes - that nicely interpolates the Scarecrow's theme, perhaps better than any other episode featuring the character, and might be one of the creepiest scores of the series thanks in part to that.
There is some original material, but a significant portion of the music in this episode is taken directly from Shirley Walker's score for "Nothing to Fear," which has already been released. I believe it's the only prominent example of tracking in the series.
I have to say, one of the hardest things about working on these releases is that you KNOW you're going to wind up omitting SOMEONE'S favorite cue or episode. Hopefully, most of the people will get most of what they want!
Uh oh... I was afraid that this would be cited as a possible reason for "Fear of Victory" being omitted from volume 3... Hoping it will be included, but you seem to be hinting that it might not be...
I love the music for the rooftop/gargoyle struggle and the Arkham scene, so I'll be disappointed if those tracks don't make it onto volume 3 in some form. I would love for them to be bonus tracks, if nothing else!
My top choices for volume 3:
Fear of Victory - for the reasons I've given above.
The Man Who Killed Batman - love all the music for the episode, from the variations of Sid's theme, to the fight at the docks, to the Joker's lair, to the bank heist, to the triumphant Batman/Rupert Thorne showdown!
I Am the Night - Jazzman's theme is great, a lot of the music is so powerful and poignant (especially at the end), and it's thanks to the music that the second attempt on Gordon's life at the end is so exciting.
Mudslide - beautiful and heart-wrenching variations on Clayface's theme here, especially at the end.
Those are my top 4 from the remaining 65, but I would also suggest:
Tyger, Tyger - the exotic music is quite cool.
Joker's Wild - some interesting, frenzied variations of Joker's theme here.
Also, "What is Reality?", "Off Balance", "P.O.V.", "The Worry Men", "Eternal Youth", "Be a Clown", "His Silicon Soul", "See No Evil" and "The Cape and Cowl Conspiracy" and "The Underdwellers" would be nice to have. But for me, they don't take precedence over the six I listed above, and I know that we can't have the music for every episode.
I'd throw in "Robin's Reckoning part 1" and "The Clock King" but I think they're already confirmed for inclusion?
Is there any news on when this will be released?

"Zatanna" by Nerida Tyson-Chew and Peter Tomashek
Great magic show music that occupies much of the first act - of the episode, not Zatanna's show - along with some nice action music for both the sequence with the trap of spikes as well as the climatic scene aboard the jet.

I'm not sure my hatred runs quite as deep as yours, but I've never especially liked the Joker's episodes or his music either. His best episodes were those that found him paired with Harley, but his solo outings were among the show's weakest. Of the currently released BTAS music, I admit I really don't listen to the Joker episodes much, but there's some great stuff in "Christmas with the Joker" and that infernal main theme from "The Last Laugh" definitely falls into the "hate-to-love-it" category for me, haha.
That said, I can think of two yet unreleased scores from episodes featuring the Joker that really do have some great music in them: "The Man Who Killed Batman" and "Harlequinade". But I don't think the Joker's characteristic carnival theme features prominently in either. Also, even though I don't really enjoy listening to that theme on its own, the theme definitely suits the character within the show, and no matter my thoughts on the character himself (he's one of my least favorite Bat villains as well), I'm always entertained by Mark Hamill's zany vocal performances.

Some of Joker's episode scores, were amongst the best scores of the series; "The Last Laugh", "Joker's Favor" and "The Laughing Fish" for example.
I think I'm in the majority here: love the Joker's faux circus-like theme. Perhaps it's the slide whistle (penny whistle?) that drives some people mad.

I'm in the majority as well - Joker episodes were among the best due not only to the character but the music. Part of what makes the music great is that, along with melodic variety among the episodes, none of them overdo the theme (which is really true of all the villain themes). They were always nicely placed and used sparingly.
"Harlequinade" is indeed a great score and would be most welcome when LLL gets to The Adventures of Batman & Robin.

A lot of the themes were used more often, but were arranged and orchestrated in such a way as you wouldn't necessarily identify them right off the bat. That was the beauty of Walker's and some other composer's talent on the show.
I rembmer how delightful it was to hear, for example that the soft music playing when the Penguin was on a date in "Birds of a Feather" and the intercutting action music, was all Penguin's theme:

Or that the large action music aroudn the end of the episode "Perchance to Dream", was nothing more than the Mad Hatter's theme in disguise.

I've given up on my incessant hope for the Ten Commandments as my next big thing to look forward to, and since this seems to be a little more concrete, I'm now anxiously awaiting the day that volume 3 is released!

I'd like to add that if Volume 3 closes out the initial 65 episodes, it would obviously be the set to include any remaining extras or alternates. The different end credit music heard in "The Forgotten" from the first DVD box, for example, is not among the alternates found on LLL's Volume 2 CD. Would be nice to have that.

When I've wondered about which scores will be featured on volume 3, I've repeatedly dismissed "Terror in the Sky", thinking of it as a retread of the "On Leather Wings" score. Having just watched the episode again though, I have to say that I was wrong: while "On Leather Wings" is superior, Shirley Walker did a great job on "Terror in the Sky", fleshing out the Man-Bat theme. It's a wonderful score, and I'd say it deserves a spot on volume 3, along with "The Man Who Killed Batman", "Fear of Victory", "I Am the Night", "Mudslide" and "Be a Clown".
