I kind of remember that it was a thing, but don't think I saw any episodes. Am very curious to see how awful the pilot is...
I remember catching the pilot when it originally aired, but don't remember too many details about the episode. I think it got cancelled pretty quick and not all the episodes aired.

I believe the first three episodes were shown before it was pulled.
Will have to pick this up. This is only the second Crichton film to be released on Blu-Ray, right? First Coma, now this? I'd love to see The Great Train Robbery get the Blu-Ray treatment.
I'm not surprised the series didn't catch. Even if the writing had been the very best, the premise sounds far too limiting. (THE TERMINATOR without time travel, week after week.)
Then again, I never would have expected a first-person-shooter like Halo to be flexible enough for a machinema series like RED vs BLUE.

In the UK ITV ran the entire run but I wasn't in the country at the time; TNT (when they were extant in these parts) later showed it. The answer to the question "How awful is it?" is "Very."
