You might just be surprised AND delighted to discover the gold that lies therein. De Roubaix was at the forefront of the 'home studio' movement in the sixties and early seventies. He was as always an adventurous musical soul, never afraid to go against conventional wisdom. A true one of a kind artist.

I am pretty certain only three. 1. The Concert John Barry 2. John Barry American's 3. Unused score for Robin and Marian. I am a John Barry fan boy and like many of you here, I find it fascinating how different composers would score the same film. I am really not a Legrand fan, but was curious about what he did.
All great choices to be sure. Perhaps you should give Legrand a chance by giving ICE STATION ZEBRA a spin. Very stirring stuff! And if you like jazzier scores, THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR is almost unparalleled. LE MANS could also be of interest.

Nevertheless, I've ordered nearly half of my Uni France CD's from this seller over the past two years (and I have over fifty of them). On average, the Uni CD's have cost me about 13.00$ CAN including shipping when buying on Priceminister.fr*. Also, where the CD's coming from the US take weeks to arrive at my door (in Canada - that huge piece of real estate North of the US) - they take days to cross the Atlantic Ocean and land in my mailbox.
* And that's without taking into account the Priceminster guarantee.

Thanks for the heads-up on this Pierre Jansen LP-to-CD! A welcomed edition to the Jansen discography. 
I have received this wonderful CD today. And it is not an LP transfer as most people might suspect from DCM, but it has indeed been correctly licensed from Sugar/CAM in Italy (info is on the back cover of the CD). LA DENTELLIÈRE has long been in the CAM catalogue because CAM and the French Pema Music publishing company had always been partners. So Sugar now has the tapes and DCM quite obviously could use the album master in fine sound quality.
