These two films always get the most vitriolic reviews but I bought the standard DVD box a year ago and it was excellent value for money. Granted Peter Cushing should have played DW as like he did Grandmof Tarkin but it would not have been any better if he had done the Hartnell cantancerous schtick which was getting older than the Doctor himself pretty damn quickly.

The first film one has THE most sumptuous colours I have ever seen and the second film has some wonderful in camera SFX can hold its own with anything today.
The extras are also top notch.

Besides the film, I also am very glad that I have the soundtrack CD. Another top product which gets plenty of air time.

Both DVD and CD HIGHLY recommended!!

D.S.
