Due to numerous fan requests, our recent release of THE CHALLENGE is being reprinted and repressed to fix its presentation. If you have already purchased this title, we will make a replacement copy available to you. We will make a general announcement on how to obtain your replacement when we have it in stock in about a month.

Thank you.

Wow. For the mixing bowls? Aside from ordering the CD, I have no dog in this race, I was fine either way, but it's cool of you to do this.

crazy indeed. had not yet noticed where this alleged mixing bowl was supposed to go. guess i'll be glad to have something others tell me is better. but i don't like distractions away from my precious x files, volume 2!

Ouch. I hope this doesn't cost LLL too dearly :/ It is a very classy move.

Will they now present both versions?

(I know Intrada reprinted Spacecamp previously because of a, quite minor, audio glitch)

What a waste. For a few seconds of missing bowls? Well, I applaud LLL for giving the customers what they want, but this time around, the customers should be ashamed of themselves for something so petty.

i thought there wasn't a "problem" and that the previous release used an incorrect take chosen by that album's producer.

Why is LLL incurring these costs?

Maybe they're not fixing the mixing bowls. Perhaps they're revising Jeff Bond's notes to reflect the absence of said bowls. D'OH!

Oh Really? "a Waste" "petty"? The "mixing bowls" made an excellent cue great, and it is more than a few seconds. Apparently you could care less if certain instruments are deleted? That is the way Goldsmith wrote it, what gives anyone the right to change his orchestration?

How self-righteous of you.

Obviously it wasn't "petty" or Lalaland wouldn't be doing this, now would they? Get off your high horse.

I'm guessing you're not at all familiar with the score and I'm guessing you are not one of the people who bought one.

To quote Basil W. from another thread:

"I assume those here who said it was a fuss over nothing will now decline the offer of a replacement disc."

Not to be outdone, Kritzerland is pushing up the release of its next CD - Great Movie Themes for Solo Mixing Bowls. Wait till you hear Tara's Theme - it will knock your socks off - of course, then you won't have any socks, but that's another story.
