Caught up with this curious film recently on YOU TUBE after 38 years when I first saw it in the theatres. With this title it got a limited release in America. A couple of years later it got another release under the title DON'T OPEN THE WINDOW . However that version was edited with a lot of gore taken out. As a young one when I saw it I was really impressed by it because except for the b/w classic NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD a few years before , this effort in it's realistic zombie action was ahead of it's time. It took a few more years when GEORGE ROMERO'S DAWN OF THE DEAD IN 79 and then since loads of bloody zombie films has become the norm to jade any horror fan. But for it's time it was fun.Arthur Kennedy lead the cast and one might get a little confuse when it comes to the origin of this effort . Since it looks like it was film in the ENGLISH countryside, yet it was made by a ITALIAN SPANISH CREW. Talk about common market. Any comments from hardcore horror fans?
