@Storyteller- I haven't seen "The Muppets" yet, but I just didn't get a positive vibe from the previews. Unfortunate; it's incredibly full of love for the characters and their legacy, and particularly hearkens back to what a lot of Muppets fans consider the "classic" era from the mid-'70s to early '80s, when The Muppet Show was running and the first couple movies were made. There are actually Muppet characters in the movie who haven't been seen since those days, characters like Thog, Wayne and Wanda, and Uncle Deadly (who actually has a fairly substantial role here). Just the fact that the filmmakers actually remembered such characters ought to mean something, I think. If you didn't get a positive vibe from the previews, what about the reviews? It settled in at a Pixar-territory 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, for whatever that's worth.
