Is it my imagination or is it true to say there seems to be a lot less people on this side of the board viewing the threads these days. It seems like the totals are a lot less then they used to be. On the film music side of the board things seem to be very healthy. But over here something is happening. I was just thinking of the classic joke , where if someone was to say lately things have been quiet when it comes to heated threads on the board, where one may say that is good news. Well let's remember the joke about the police saying , we don't have much crime in our neighborhood anymore. The citizen says of course you don't it's a slum, nobody lives here anymore.

The non-film music side has always been less visited.

Thor is right that there has always been less activity on this side of the board, but it seems to me both sides are a little sluggish in recent weeks. Or, maybe it's just that the more recent topics aren't particularly interesting to *me*. Perhaps I need to broaden my knowledge and interests.

I don't know, the action on this side of the board seems to be about what I expect. Ive noticed a lot of "regulars" from the film score side never post over here.

Actually I wonder how CD sales are this year? Replies in new release threads seem very sluggish. It's a rarity they go farther than three or so pages. If they do the conversation is more about the film not the music. For myself Ive seen very little of interest. The last five months have been a bust score wise.

I see this as quality over quantity.
I always have wonderful encounters here.

You guys could be right but I find it a shame when a thread on fashion on the USS enterprise get;s below 50 views , the Bruce lee legacy gets less then 100 views, CHICKENHEARTED QUIZ OFTEN GET'S LESS THEN A HUNDRED VIEWS,A LARRY COHEN issue gets less then 100, So many of DOGBELLE'S threads get low views, I try to start a interesting GENRE QUIZ, nobody answers and less then 50 views. So many good mainstream topics just sinks into oblivion. WHERE did theatre talk go? I stop the birthday thread because the views were shrinking every month. THE GENRE event of the day because the numbers were dwindling. It is not the comments that bother me, but the views total, because that means total apathy, nobody is even looking.
