I have no idea if this a secret or too personal, but does any known film composer in the industry read this board at times? I know a few composers doing low budget films read this at times.

You and one other person are the only people reading this board. Every other person who posts here (including me) is one lonely guy with no sex life posting under a thousand pseudonyms.

I did intend for this thread to be serious, but I should know better, I mean do people like JOHN WILLIAMS, JAMES HORNER, LEE HOLDRIDGE and the like look in here at times?

They do, but they only click on thread titles that are grammatically correct. smile

No, Dan, I very much doubt big-time composers log on here. Maybe once in a blue moon (I seem to remember Giacchino being on here once), but we're really a rather insular community of fans and people related to the niche industry (producers).

The Almighty Jerry sees all from above. He has no need of a message board.

I always knew Hans Zimmer had a sense of humour!

I've heard it said that some lurk without posting, but I suppose that's impossible to know one way or the other.

I remember seeing posts from Chris Tilton and the late Russell Garcia a few years back.

There are a few, but I'm not calling them out so their privacy can be protected.

This very well could be, because he isn't famous now, but he's famous... in the future!
Maybe your name should be "Yor the Hunter (And Famous Soundtrack Composer) from the Future" so that everyone will know. smile

Ok, ok!

YOR confess: he is in fact Hanzimmer pretending he is a Hanzimmer hater just to see if all the people he pay to defend him around the internet are doing their jobs!
