Perhaps slightly off topic, but radio DJ "The Greaseman" frequently uses film score music as underscore for his wacky stories. You can hear music tracks from Poltergeist, Blade Runner, The Fury, Basic Instinct, Jurassic Park and many more during his programs.

And digital BBC Radio 7 used to air this series periodically. It was renamed BBC 4 Extra a while ago, but I'd expect they'd still air it.

Embryonic moments of future Herrmann scores can be heard from time to time on the CBS Radio series "Suspense" in the early years when Herrmann was aboard the show and wrote a little original music in the first seasons.
