I just received my copy of Kritzerland's extended version of Jerry Goldsmith's "Breakheart Pass" and noticed that the image on the cover is a bright, while the La La Land version has a little more detail. What do you think?

Not just the cover...

I missed both versions and have the chance to get LaLaLand's. Would like to know if there is any difference between releases and if I should pay a bit more for Kritzerland?

Well, there's a whole thread discussing the differences here

The poster art was painted by Mort Kunstler, who also did the two "Poseidon Adventure" films, "The Golden Voyage of Sinbad", "The Taking of Pelham One Two Three" and "Three the Hard Way"

Kunstler is also known for his Civil War illustrations, and started his career doing the box artwork for Aurora 1:25 scale auto model kits.

Fascinating! Would you happen to know who did 'Seaview' and the 'Flying Sub' for Aurora?

Kritzerland tends to make some of their covers look somewhat washed-out, like an old LP (that's not necessarily bad). The lalaland looks better but has too much text, I don't like when the name of the main actor is bigger than the composer's name (although it mimics the movie poster)

Pet peeve: I hate the shadows Kritzerland has under the 'original soundtrack' line. So my favorite is definitely the La La.

Thanks, so there is really not big difference, just an extra track. I am having difficulties finding a spare copy of Kritzerland's but got the chance to get Lalalarecords'.
