Fellini's ROMA, and his short film TOBY DAMMIT, from the trilogy SPIRITS OF THE DEAD.

Those are my two Fellini favorites.

Not a huge Fellini fan, I'm afraid, but his "Toby Dammit" story from SPIRITS OF THE DEAD (some of you mentioned it already) is absolutely hypnotic.

Never really embraced Fellini as a director and La Dolce Vita is probably the only one of his movies I've seen more than once and could discuss in any depth.

I remember actually giving up on Armacord half way through.

    THE WHITE SHEIK
    LA STRADA
    THE NIGHTS OF CABIRIA
    LA DOLCE VITA
    AMARCORD

And that stunning and beautiful very short segment from FELLINI-ROMA in which the antic paintings are suddenly corrupted and erased by the air.

Although not one of my favorite directors (Nino Rota's music is another matter - I love it!), 8 1/2 is a remarkable achievement and I have to put it on top of the list. Also:

    - AMARCORD
    - LE NOTTI DI CABIRIA
    - LA DOLCE VITA
    - LA STRADA
    - JULIET OF THE SPIRITS

SATYRICON is my least favorite Fellini film, BTW...

    "8 1/2" is my favorite.

THE TEMPTATION OF DR. ANTONIO, from BOCCACCIO '70, is my 2nd favorite and LA DOLCE VITA is my third Fellini.
