Yeah, that's our PT Cruiser. I had the sticker custom made. Here's the link in case anyone else wants to flaunt some tongue-in-cheek Horner love whilst stymieing the motorists who are behind you in traffic: http://www.makestickers.com/DesignReorder.aspx?SKU=90&DN=130514012102&cid=qwd1plqstfwsqbi4agnmz2xi#.UZHZXH0l8M0.facebook

I've got to admit - I've been reading about James Horner's "danger motif" for years, but because words on page don't hum tunes I still don't know what this motif is supposed to be! I have quite a lot of Horner CDs. Can anyone give me an example to listen for?

I'm not being flippant. I'm really not certain!

Thank you, Josh. I've got it now, lol. Of course I've heard it tons of time - the likening of it to the beginning of Rach's 1st Symphony helps me place it. smile

Coincidentally, I'm listening to Horner's HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS right now (the Intrada release), and guess what appears 22 seconds into track 4 ("A New World"):

Come on, you gotta love it. The Danger Motif for President!

When I read the thread title, I thought the bumper sticker was going to say;

"My Other Car Sounds Exactly The Same"

(Kidding!) big grin

wink

That's really funny!!!!!!!!

I think nobody would understand that over here in my city.
BTW I love James Horner and it doesn't matter to me he uses this danger motif a hundred times.
What is important is the good music he does surrounding this danger motif wink

It's not wise to put a bumper sticker on the painted area of a car, because the paint could come off if the paint it not taken care of properly.

Wise is one thing I shall never claim to be! A wiseass, sometimes, but not wise.
